Pat Johnstone

It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of our dear friend Pat.

Pat was a friendly lady and a well-loved Elder and member of the congregation, who loved being in the thick of whatever was going on, be it collecting thread for sending abroad, helping behind the scenes at events, befriending new members, supporting new projects, and, of course, being an active and inquiring member of the Kirk Session.

We know family was everything to Pat and our thoughts and prayers are very much with all of her family and friends.

We'll miss her.

Pat's funeral will be held at Masonhill Crematorium on Tuesday 31st May at 2pm

Our visiting organist last week stepped up to the challenge when our electric organ developed a fault!

Unperturbed, he went straight to the ancient organ, pumped the bellows with his feet and the music rang out loud and true!!

Well done that man! The hero of the ivories!!
