Welcome to North Ayr TheGither!

Paul Algeo is the Church of Scotland
Development / Family Worker for this project.

North Ayr TheGither is a registered charity formed in 2014.

We are a Community Project working within the town of Ayr, and, more specifically, Ayr North.

Although North Ayr TheGither is an independent Charity, it operates in conjunction with the Church of Scotland, incorporating three parish church areas including Ayr St. Quivox Church, Ayr St. James Church, Newton Wallacetown Church, with a specific focus on the Dalmilling area, part of Ayr: St Quivox.

Our purpose is to bridge the gap between the church and the local community by working with local people to deliver services for local people. We strive to build meaningful and lasting relationships with those living in Ayr North. We are here to serve the community in a practical way, and as we do so, demonstrate the love of God.

We provide a number of activities for children and families, those with disabilities and men recovering from addictive behaviours. We also work closely with Dalmilling Primary School, as well as other local organisations including Room Sixty and Wheels in Motion.
