Our Burns Celebration
Burns Statue, Ayr Well it is that time of year again, when the Haggis are hiding deep in the heather and the Neeps are piled higher and higher on the supermarket shelves - awaiting the dreaded Champer!! It is time to look out the Poetry books and brush up on the poems you learned at school and impress your friends.
Yes, it is nearly the end of January, time to celebrate the 257th. anniversary of the birth of Scotland's National Bard - Robert Burns, Born on 25th. January 1759 just three miles down the road from our church and celebrated the World over.
Why not come along and join with us as we celebrate the event with an informal Burns Evening of music and song, good food and good humour- If you don't leave with a smile on your face, it will be your own fault!!
It takes place at 7p.m. in the Wilson Hall on Thursday 11th.February. Tickets are great value at £3.00. We would be delighted to see you!!
