As the Rev.Ken was away enjoying a well earned break in Vienna, this presented our recently formed Worship Group with an opportunity to put their training into practice by conducting the last Sunday Service of the year in Auchincruive. Group members, Gwyn Williams and Colin Mutch confidently led the Service, while Andrew Templeton worked his magic on the Audio/Visual side of things. Pat Smith, Vickie Mutch and Eileen Williams delivered messages of hope and encouragement from the various women featured in the Bible readings given by David McMahon. It was an original and enjoyable Service which was greatly enjoyed by the Congregation. There was no shortage of home-baked cakes and biscuits to be enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee at the close of the Service. Rev. Ken would have been rightly proud! |
