A cheque for £361.51 has been sent to the Salvation Army Food Bank following offerings collected from our Christmas Eve services. We know this has been appreciated and will be used wisely in the work of this very worthwhile service, especially at what is a difficult time for some families. Sincere thanks to all.
Still on the subject of giving, a further cheque for £169.96 has been sent to Troon St. Meddans for Mary's Meals. This is our joint project and this latest cheque,raised through Tea and Coffee donations, brings our total for the year to £1,118.41. A cheque for £4000 has already been sent to Mary's Meals and the estimated total for the year is around £9000. Well done to our fundraisers from both churches for their efforts throughout the year - whether you were running the 10K. or drinking tea or coffee - it all adds up and will benefit the kids in Haiti.
