Margaret O'Hara - Always smiling!! Long time member, Margaret O'Hara, was a star for the day when she was invited to be a guest of honour, and to cut the ribbon, at the reopening of the newly refurbished branch of the Santander Bank in Ayr.
Margaret - a sprightly 90 year old and an active member of St.Quivox Church - was in good company, two other guests, who were 92 and 95 years of age, helped make up the trio of the branch's oldest customers. The average age was lowered by the presence of their newest customer, a three week old baby, whose proud parents had just opened a savings account for their new arrival.
Margaret says she was treated like Royalty by the local staff, there were pictures for the local paper, and each received a fantastic Christmas Hamper with the compliments of Santander.
Margaret will soon be off to America to spend some time with her Daughter and grandchildren.
